Comms Full Time, Public Safety Dispatcher
The Town of Boxborough is currently seeking experienced communications professionals to fill Full Time Public Safety Dispatch positions. This is a union position, and (DOQE) with pension benefits under Middlesex County Retirement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering emergency and non-emergency calls,
- Dispatching police, fire, and EMS, and other related duties.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- The ideal applicant must be able to work any of the shifts that cover the 24/7 needs of the Town
- Have experience in the communication field
- Hold a current 911 telecommunicator certification.
- Knowledge of IMC computer-aided dispatch is a plus.
