Fire On-Call Firefighter and Firefighter/EMT
The Littleton Fire Department is seeking new members for the On-Call Firefighter/EMT team. Becoming an on-call member is an ideal way to be part of the Littleton community, help your neighbor, and provide a vital service to those in need. No experience necessary – we provide training.
Littleton’s combination department consists of a full-time Chief, 1 full-time Deputy Chief, 4 full-time Lieutenants, 5 full-time Firefighter/EMTs, 7 full-time Firefighter/Paramedics, a full-time executive assistant, 5 on-call officers, and 18 on-call Firefighters and/or EMTs. As a growing community with two major state highways within our borders, on-call staff are vital to support the needs and operations of the department.

Available as needed for call responses, and required night trainings/meetings. High School diploma. Valid MA driver’s license with a good driving record.
All On-Call positions are non-benefit eligible. Starting wages for these positions range from $12.75 to $16.72, DOQ, with room for growth. Payment is bi-weekly. This posting will remain open until the On-Call roster is filled.
Appointment of final candidates will be contingent upon the results of pre-placement conditions including a thorough background investigation and medical exam. Costs for these pre-placement requirements will be borne by the Town.
