Firefighter/Paramedic

The Town of Dennis Fire Department is recruiting professional candidates for the full-time positions of Firefighter/Paramedic. Massachusetts State Firefighter Academy 1 & 2 trained preferred.

Applicants must meet the basic qualifications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic as determined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These basic qualifications include:

Be at least 19 years of age at the time of application
Possess a valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license at the time of application
Possess a High School Diploma or have a G.E.D.
Certification at time of application as Paramedic in Massachusetts.
Must be free of felony convictions
Must be able to pass the Massachusetts Department of Human Resources Firefighter Fitness Medical Examination and Physical Ability Test, upon hire.
