Job Description

The Springdale Police Department is seeking a full-time Police Officer. Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., POST certification, and at least two (2) years of law enforcement experience. This position will participate in a regular day/swing/night schedule rotation, including weekends and holidays.

Summary:
This position performs various professional law enforcement duties related to delivering day-to-day public safety and policing functions of the Town of Springdale Police Department. Duties include enforcing laws, maintaining peace and security, and rendering aid to residents and visitors. The Police Officer will perform police operations, including patrol, crime prevention, investigations, traffic, community-oriented policing, and community relations. The Police Officer works under the supervision and direction of the Police Sergeant and Police Lieutenant.

Compensation:
Competitive compensation is consistent with training and experience. The anticipated hiring range is $25.03 – $51.40/hour ($51,061.20 – $106,912.00/year) DOE. A comprehensive benefits package, including membership in the Utah Retirement System, is offered. Dental and vision insurance is available at the employee’s expense.
